ReCha – Recycling Champions is a socially responsible enterprise addressing two pressing issues in South Africa: waste management and youth unemployment. By training and empowering young people to become micro-entrepreneurial recyclers, ReCha transforms waste into opportunity and livelihoods

Our Mission

ReCha bridges the gap in the recycling and waste management industry through youth empowerment and enterprise development. The programme nurtures individuals from underserved communities to become agents of environmental and economic change.

Programme Overview

ReCha is designed to equip unemployed youth with the training, mentorship, and tools to become Recycling Champions. These young entrepreneurs collect and manage waste while building sustainable, local businesses.

Programme Summary
